A company can include varied work groups, each having unique characteristics. First of all, the management has to understand the characteristics of each work group. They have to use analytical measures for this. Each of the work group should be given the same training program and analyze their outputs. The work group who performs well can be promoted. Also the work group which constantly performs well can be retained. Others can be eliminated. Each work group can be given similar work tasks and analyze their outputs.

The one which come up to the expectations can be retained or selected. The others should not be given one more chance since they are not capable to cope up with others. The selected work groups can be given higher tasks and improve their work skills by giving them momentous training programs. Some groups may have a special interest in a certain task. They love to do it with great commitment. Such interests should not be discouraged. The top management can decide that such employees may concentrate more on their special interest tasks and less on other additional smaller tasks since they may get more specialized in their works. Some groups may be well fit for doing momentous tasks within a short period of time.

Such groups can be given priority than others without showing a single kind of discrimination. Some groups will be well-versed in current trends of transactions & trade. Those groups can be made to work on deadlines to finish the work with all the current applications. Unity in diversity should be the motto of the workers and should uphold the rights of the company without making a single failure in united work ship. And also the management should motivate this positive work ship. Diversity is an inevitable part of any job profession. The company consists of various groups of employees with different approach of work.

We should not simply imitate the western culture of work. Instead, the employees should have a unique work style throughout their career. But they have to adopt changes if the trend changes to a maximum extend. The work diversity is associated with various factors like the employees from other states speaking entirely different languages, employees from foreign countries having typical western culture, employers having various way C.R.M etc. Unity in diversity should be the motto of the company whatever adverse circumstances take place within it. The employees should be free from false trade unions who try to create diversity within the company. They have only selfish motives behind the strikes conducted in the company premises.

The management should take necessary steps to avoid the involvement of such pseudo trade unions in employee matters and eliminate such differences created among the employees. The top level official should not scold the employee for his different way of work. Instead try to change the employee’s work habits slowly to normal way like others. This change will give the top official satisfaction in management and also in the fact that one more employee is put in the right track. Such employees should undergo necessary training programs to understand the work culture of the company and also to cope up with the other well-performing employees. Nobody is born as efficient, but has become like that through hard work and determination.

Keeping this point in mind, the workforce diversity should be managed by putting sincere efforts by the management and should not develop a divide and rule approach to the workers like politics. Managing workforce diversity is not an easy task, but it needs expertise and high emotional status to adjust to their tastes and wants and developing them as a single unit. Only a well efficient and emotionally stable manager can take up this task to bring all kinds of employees of the company under one umbrella.
